Fire in the Merrill Lynch / Chase Bank Building

Today  there was a small fire on the 2nd floor of the Merrill Lynch / Chase Bank Building on kemp. Several fire trucks and firefighters arrived on scene before those of us on the 8th floor could even get down the stairs. On the way down we passed by firefighters going up into the 2nd floor. When they opened the door things seemed calm but the hall was filled with a bit of smoke. After about 30 – 45 minutes we were allowed to go back inside.
