The first month of 2011 brought good news for Wichita Falls when it comes to sales tax revenue.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs announced Wednesday the amount she will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts for this month, and Wichita Falls saw a healthy increase over the amount it received in January 2010.
