Amended Illegal Dumping Ordinance Going into Effect September 3rd

Wichita Falls, Texas- Resident or visitors who illegally dump trash on other resident’s property or near a dumpster they are not authorized to use will face very stiff fines from the City of Wichita Falls beginning Thursday, September 3rd. The Wichita Falls City Council on August 4th amended the current dumping ordinance to allow for a significant increase in the fines levied for illegal dumping.

HHH: Wrap Up

Hotter N’ Hell officially wrapped up on Sunday with multiple criterium race near downtown Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Event Center. While this was the 34th annual HHH Sunday marked only the 24th anniversary of the criterium race.

Police chief praises those retiring from Wichita Falls Police Department

Wichita Falls Police Chief Manuel Borrego today, Tuesday, September 1, praised two men who retired from the police department in a statement he made to Examiner . In his comments to the Wichita Falls Law Enforcement Examiner the chief said, “Captain Eric Russell loved this Police Department and his goal was to ensure our department was able to provide the best service to our community.”
