If you haven’t noticed sometimes the site finds a lot of sources all about the same story. When that happens it tends to look like it’s spamming twitter and the blog with the same exact thing. My question to those that use this site for news, is that how you would like it to work? Or would you rather just one story be posted and urls of the new source be added on to the first post with matching names? It won’t be easy to do the latter, but it should be possible to catch the majority of big stories.

Just post a reply on twitter or comment here with what you would like to see done.

Today  there was a small fire on the 2nd floor of the Merrill Lynch / Chase Bank Building on kemp. Several fire trucks and firefighters arrived on scene before those of us on the 8th floor could even get down the stairs. On the way down we passed by firefighters going up into the 2nd floor. When they opened the door things seemed calm but the hall was filled with a bit of smoke. After about 30 – 45 minutes we were allowed to go back inside.

I recently added a new events section to the website. I will add events myself from time to time, but I can’t catch everything. If you have an event you want posted sign up here and submit a post with the information. I’ll get to it as soon as possible.
